Sarah (Managing Editor) is an editor for The Victor Voice this year, after having been on the paper since first entering high school three years ago. She keeps invariably busy, expending all of her energy on her schoolwork, job at McDonalds, and the multitude of extra-curricular activities she participates in. As Student Council Treasurer, Sarah loves being able to help make decisions about the school on behalf of the student body. As Drama Club President, she enjoys leading a a club in which her passion for acting and music can be shared with younger students who aspire to enter the theatre field. While also being a Captain of the Mathletes and President of International Club, Sarah definitely has a wide range of opinions and knowledge to bring to The Victor Voice stage. She will always present the truth and accuracy in her articles. When you ask her for her opinion, don't be shocked when her tenacity takes over and she talks your ear off!
Ryan is a junior in the high school. He is a two-sport athlete, playing football and basketball. Ryan is a huge sports fan, and an avid believer in the Republican Party. If you want to ask him questions for the sports corner section of the paper, you can contact him at ryanbavineau@gmail.com.

Shamus is a sophomore new to The Victor Voice staff. A Zen Buddhist and self-proclaimed philosopher, street poet and life coach, he enjoys video games, playing the bass, making fun of bad movies, and listening to all kinds of music. He is currently working on his autobiography, Shamus I Hardly Knew Me (which he predicts will be declared Best Selling Book of All Time), and is currently focusing on becoming President of the Universe because as Shamus so eloquently puts it: "Go big or go home."
Marissa is a junior this year. This is her first year writing for The Victor Voice, and she is enjoying it so far. She tries her best in school and is taking challenging classes so that she can get into a good college. Outside of school Marissa enjoys photography, traveling, and fashion. She plans to study Biology and Biochemistry in college. She would love to one day meet her favorite band, Coldplay.
In John "the man" C.'s travels in this world, he has seen many things, and has met many unique people. But the most unique people he's met are those journalists in 3BD-- they are different than everybody else. In John's words, in journalism you "have to expect the unexpected." John says journalism is a fun class to join if you want to be more sociable (and John knows all about being sociable). # JOURNALIZE
Erik (Co-Editor-in-Chief) is a writer for The Victor Voice newspaper,
specializing in writing articles with letters, words, sentences, and even
paragraphs. He often uses photos to compliment his articles and depict what he
is writing about. Erik writes the majority of his articles between 10:45am and
12:45 pm every other weekday, often writing them on
a computer. His articles always contain a title, a byline, and a coherent mass of words that are put
together in a way that they convey relevant information or an opinion.
Alexa (Co-Editor-in-Chief) is a senior, though she could probably pass for a freshman, enjoying her third year writing for The Victor Voice. As a hardworking student, she is always busy with something, whether it be running cross country or track, playing Violin, or just doing homework. In her little free time, Alexa also loves to read and write. In the future she has high aspirations to attend college in New York City and study journalism. With a smile on her face and a bow in her hair (per the usual), this girl is ready for anything life throws her way.
Briana is junior at Victor Senior High who shows her creative abilities through her writing and dancing. She enjoys literature and music-- anything from classical to country. She hopes to one day be published as an author and to travel the world and write. Journalism has opened a new gateway of writing for her as she works to pursue her goals.
Sydney (Copy Editor) is a junior and new member of the paper. Because she is only a fledgling news writer, she cannot be tamed and often gets angry about her article topics. Politically speaking, she is pretty much the exact opposite of Chris, although she too believes in the importance of defending individual rights. Her interests include political theory, feminism, queer rights, and nerdy online discussions about modern adaptations of Les Miserables. She isn't quite sure how her music tastes are relevant to journalism, but if anybody cares, she thinks that Death Cab for Cutie and Regina Spektor are pretty rad. Follow her for more soft grunge and newsprint.

Chris is a sophomore writer with The Victor Voice. Chris is a staunch libertarian, who feels the country is headed away from its root principles and joined the school newspaper to express his brash opinions on government. His primary aspiration in life is to get his name in a history book. He wishes to be known as something of an American Folk hero, a man of the people who rose to prominence in the name of defending man’s liberties, willing to fight to the death for his rights.
Jessica (Managing Editor) is a junior at Victor and is quite the character. This is her second year on the newspaper-- this does not mean, however, she has any clue what she's doing. She does know she enjoys writing and cares wayyyy too much about words and their power (give her a chance, and she will certainly talk your ear off about anything pertaining to words). She is a feminist and is not afraid to speak her mind. Not only is she a feminist, she is an equal rights seeker for all. She believes life is too short (oh, count her in for the spontaneous existentialism crisis) to treat people with prejudice and hate. You can find Jessica with headphones in her ears, listening to anyone from Twenty One Pilots to Mumford and Sons (however, she will gladly pause for her closest friends). Jessica thinks she's hella quirky and hopes to bring some controversy to the paper.
Amanda, or you probably know her as Zump, loves sports, especially soccer. She is a senior and joined The Victor Voice last year. She loves writing about sports and plans to be on ESPN one day. Her favorite sports teams include the New York Yankess, New York Giants, and Buffalo Sabres. In addition to her love for sports, you can find Amanda listening to Maroon 5 in her spare time. Amanda tore her ACL recently and is working to get back on the soccer field. Her biggest pet peeve is boys who think they know more about sports than she does.
